    Support Groups for the Caregiver

    Support groups are held at each center several times a month to meet the caregiver’s needs. Facilitated by the ADS social worker these groups are open to the public and care for the person with dementia is provided for free during the support groups.

How you can help

Volunteers

ADS can always use volunteers, whether you are a handy man or just a loving person who wants to share your time. Volunteers augment staffing, which has a ratio of 1:4. Volunteers most often assist with activities and provide companionship to our “Friends”.

Story About Us

Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services of Memphis, Inc. is a local, non-profit organization established in January 1983 for the purpose of operating a day program for persons with Alzheimer’s disease. Today, Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services of Memphis, Inc. operates two dementia-specific adult day care centers with another center to open in 2021.
