Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services of Memphis, Inc. is a non-profit organization which is not affiliated with any local or national agency. The services provided are funded by participant fees, grants, annual giving program, special fundraising events and donations of money, services and goods.
The participant fees cover about one-third the cost.
All Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Memorials and Honorariums are acknowledged to the person being honored or to the family of the one being memorialized as well as to the donor.
The H. W. Durham Foundation Scholarship, Fondren/Huddleston Memorial Scholarship, Wadsworth Scholarship, and Dr. Neasbie Alston Respite Fund are internal scholarship funds that assist the “Friends” with the fees. Those that need services should not be turned away because of finances. Donations to these funds are always welcomed.
We do several events throughout the year for support of our work and our ADS Trivia Night in the Spring is a wonderful team event that provides a fun contest and more while providing funds for the program at our two centers in Memphis. Please contact us for more calendar events throughout the year.
ADS Wish List is a list of items needed by our friends on a weekly basis. These in-kind gifts are used for activities and personal care for our ADS “Friends”.
Planned Giving is another way to provide support for Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services by leaving us in your will.
